What Evolution changes in a fight
Storm Evolution 1.11
Storm Evolution — written as Storm 4 EVO outside the launcher — is a free community mod built on NARUTO SHIPPUDEN: Ultimate Ninja STORM 4. You install the Evolution launcher into your STORM 4 folder, the launcher pulls the mod files, and you start the mod through that launcher rather than through Steam. The current release is Evolution 1.11, published on 12 October 2026, and every number on this site is checked against that build.
Before you install
- A retail copy of STORM 4 bought on Steam, with no other mods in the game folder.
- The game opened at least once, past the title screen, so it has written its save data.
- The Next Generations DLC if you want the Storm Connections characters, stages and costumes.
- Free disk space for a mod download measured in tens of gigabytes.

Questions people arrive with
Is it free? Yes. You still need the retail game. Pirated copies? Treat Steam as the requirement — the launcher and the online lobbies are built around it. Will it wipe my progress? No; the mod keeps its own save file, STORM4E.S. Can I update without reinstalling? Yes: launcher → UPDATER → Validate.
